“Take your situation and make it better.” When asked what inspired him to go into music, “LiBand replied “lifestyle. My life is too much like a story; I wanted to turn it into art.”

LiBand wants to show people throughout the world of different cultures and customs about how one can create a positive impact in a negative situation. The single “Due Date” serves parallel to his drive for portraying more positivity.

For him, it is beyond the time that true stories and triumphs are brought more to light about African American rappers, instead of the cliche tracks about money, cars, and women. Liband authentically curates messages of loyalty and black struggle in which he hopes to connect with fans throughout the world. It’s “overdue” that “Due Date” is a worldwide hit, so stream the single on any DSP and view the official video on YouTube.
